About
Plugins built by a working musician, in Haarlem.
I’m Andy. I make records and I produce other people’s, and I spent years building software products before that. Helder Audio is where the two meet. Every plugin here started as a problem in one of my own sessions: a mix that went muddy when everything played at once, a melody that needed chords under it, a project whose hours nobody had counted. I built the tools because I needed them, and I use them every week. That is where the updates come from, too.
Helder is the Dutch word for clear. Every tool here takes something you would otherwise have to think about and turns it into something you can see and act on. The analyzer shows the collision and hands you the scalpel. The chord tool shows eight futures for a melody and lets you hear them. The timer shows the hours without anyone starting a timer. The tool does the accounting. You keep the judgment.
The prices are low on purpose. Buying a tool should be an easy decision, so there are no subscriptions, no upsell ladders and no artificial scarcity. What comes with every product instead: a generous demo before you pay, a plain refund policy, free updates, direct support by email from the person who wrote the code, and a changelog that shows what is changing and why.
The test
A Helder product makes something visible and gives you a direct way to act on it. It does not decide for you, and it does not hide what it did.
That sentence decides what gets built next, and what gets left out.
The shelf
The names are Dutch nouns a six-year-old knows. Each one names what the tool gives you: room, ground, time.
ground · khront
It doesn’t write your song. It shows you what your melody could become.

Support
Support comes by email from the person who wrote the code, usually within a day. Bugs get fixed, and fixes go in the changelog. Write to support@helderaudio.com.
Refunds
If a product doesn’t work out, email me within [14] days of buying and I refund it through Gumroad. No form. I may ask what went wrong, because I would like to fix it. Refund policy
