helder.ruimte

ruimte · room · ROWM-tuh

Make space for everything in your mix.

An analyzer for mixes that turn muddy when everything plays together. Drop it on every track. They find each other, and show you where two sounds fight for the same room.

The demo is the whole plugin with one limit: [demo limitation]. Buying takes you to Gumroad; the code they email you unlocks it. Price includes VAT where it applies.

What it does

See your whole mix at once.

Every track’s frequency content on one graph, in your DAW’s own track colours. The graph marks the collision and names the two tracks in it.

Read the worst offenders first.

A ranked list of the pairs that fight hardest, with the frequency range, and a meter for low-mid mud.

Fix it where it fights.

A built-in EQ applies the suggested cut. A duck carves one track out of another’s way only while it plays, with no routing. A band limiter keeps a region under a ceiling.

Find the moment.

A peak timeline records the whole song. Click any loud moment and see who caused it and what was clashing. In Logic, jump the playhead straight there. Jumping is Logic-only for now.

How buying works

  1. Try the demo first.

Download it here, no account and no email. Put it in a real session and see whether it earns its place.

  2. Buy on Gumroad.

The buy button takes you to my Gumroad page. Gumroad takes the payment, handles VAT, and sends the receipt and your unlock code by email, usually within a minute.

  3. Paste the code into the plugin.

Open the demo, paste the code, and it is the full plugin. The code works on all your Macs. Updates are free and come through the same download.

Support comes by email from the person who wrote the code, usually within a day. Bugs get fixed, and fixes go in the changelog.

Built by a working musician.

I’m Andy. I make records in Haarlem and I wrote ruimte because I needed it in my own sessions. I still use it every week, and that is where the updates come from. More about the workshop
