helder.grond
grond · ground · khront
It doesn’t write your song. It shows you what your melody could become.
Play or drop in a MIDI melody. Eight genuinely different chord progressions appear under it, and every one fits the notes. The only question is which one you like.
The demo is the whole plugin with one limit: [demo limitation]. Buying takes you to Gumroad; the code they email you unlocks it. Price includes VAT where it applies.
Placeholder: this is the design comp. It will be replaced with a real capture inside the DAW, and a short video.
What it does
Eight progressions that all fit.
The plain reading, a famous shape, a jazzier take, borrowed colour, a reframed key, a wildcard. Each one labelled for why it works. Nothing on the board sounds wrong.
Audition, don’t reason.
Play a card. Lock the chords you love and shuffle the rest. Split a bar for a passing chord. Swap any chord for a ranked list of alternatives. Nothing you didn’t touch ever moves.
Turn the pick into a part.
A groove strip and a bass-line builder play the progression in the style you’re writing in, from pads to house to trap to Motown.
Drag it into your session.
Drag a card into Logic or Ableton Live as MIDI. Your chords, on your track, in your key.
Built by a working musician.
I’m Andy. I make records in Haarlem and I wrote grond because I needed it in my own sessions. I still use it every week, and that is where the updates come from. More about the workshop
